That’s right… 2 posts in one week. I know, it must be a record for this blog.
Here are a couple more seniors from this past spring. (I will have some 2010 seniors to post later in the week)

Oh… and we can’t forget about the class of 2027

Oh… and we can’t forget about the class of 2027

I have enjoyed an extended summer vacation the past few weeks. It has been nice to slow down before the typically very busy fall. Now that the Senior portrait season is picking up for the Class of 2010, I realized that I had not posted most of my Class of 2009 seniors. So, here are a few pics from this past spring and summer.

In March, I had the privilege to go on a mission trip to Guatemala. My husband and I left the kids with grandma and went for a week to work with a church outside of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.
Our group was split into two teams. One team went to a village to build an addition onto a local school. The other team (the one my husband and I were on) spent the day in a rural village where we partnered with a local church. We spent the day sharing the gospel, loving on, and supporting this community. In the afternoons, we held a vacation bible school for the children. We started the week with about 50 kids and ended the week with well over 100.
Any of you that know me know that I am a homebody and don’t leave my children very often. But, we had such a peace about being there and knew that we were there for a reason. My peace really was an answer to the prayers of many. In fact, even my six year old son said through teary eyes, “Mom, I don’t want you to go, but I know that God does.”
It was such and amazing, yet humbling experience. The people that we thought we were going to bless, ended up blessing me in ways that I will never forget. Their passion, generosity, and love have touched my heart.
Of course, I brought my camera. The country and its people are beautiful……….

This is a picture of our team and the team from the local church minus the construction crew and me (I’m behind the camera). Mi Hermanos!

Hello??? Are you still out there?
I know, I know… it has been a very long time since my last post. Let’s just forget about that little lapse in posting. ITB has continued to be very busy these past few months. To all of my loyal clients… thank you! I truly enjoy each one of you.
Though seniors took up most of my fall, it seems like I have had a run of newborns lately. Here are a few of my favorite images from some recent newborn shoots.

As my grandma always says, a rolling stone will gather no moss. So here is new blog, version 3.
Its that time of year…. I have been very busy, so there will be more to come.
