Since going into business six years ago, I have enjoyed being a part of families and celebrating milestones such as births, graduations and weddings. After recently celebrating the birth of my fifth child, it has become apparent to me that I cannot currently give the attention and energy to my clients that they deserve while also keeping my family as a priority. It is for this reason that photography will return to being a hobby for me rather than a profession.

Thank you to all of you who have made these past six years as successful and rewarding as they have been. This has been a difficult decision for me because of the relationships we have developed. As my children age and I can devote more attention to serving you, my clients, I hopefully will return to photography.

Oh… and we can’t forget about the class of 2027

Our group was split into two teams.  One team went to a village to build an addition onto a local school.  The other team (the one my husband and I were on) spent the day in a rural village where we partnered with a local church.  We spent the day sharing the gospel, loving on, and supporting this community.  In the afternoons, we held a vacation bible school for the children.  We started the week with about 50 kids and ended the week with well over 100.

Any of you that know me know that I am a homebody and don’t leave my children very often.  But, we had such a peace about being there and knew that we were there for a reason.  My peace really was an answer to the prayers of many.  In fact, even my six year old son said through teary eyes, “Mom, I don’t want you to go, but I know that God does.”

It was such and amazing, yet humbling experience.  The people that we thought we were going to bless, ended up blessing me in ways that I will never forget.  Their passion, generosity, and love have touched my heart.

Of course, I brought my camera. The country and its people are beautiful……….

I know, I know… it has been a very long time since my last post.  Let’s just forget about that little lapse in posting.  ITB has continued to be very busy these past few months.  To all of my loyal clients… thank you!  I truly enjoy each one of you.
